chambers will promote better transient airflow in the higher RPMs. The stock plenum is hemholtz tuned for 4500RPM optimization. But around 6500RPM the runners are at half-wavelength which works against flow. This new design has runners tuned at 6250RPM and larger plenum chambers to complement the higher RPM/flow properties of the shorter runners. We should see a shift in torque peak out into higher RPMs and the torque will hold a lot better into the higher revs than the OEM plenum does. This design targets the higher flowing setups with GTX series turbos that can efficiently flow up into the higher revs.
